Patricia Ruth Parker

1931 - 2026

   Mrs. Patricia Ruth Parker, age 95, of Blairsville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Parker was born on February 1, 1931, in Tara, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Russell Dee Ranney and the late Pearl Mae Hildebrand Ranney. Patricia was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, and spending time with family. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Douglas Parker, Sr.; sisters, Dee Roth, Joyce Roth; and a son, Andrew Parker. 

   Surviving Mrs. Parker are one daughter, Melissa Schilling of Blairsville, GA, one son, Douglas (Kimberly) Parker, Jr. of Fort Myers, FL, three grandchildren: Mollie Schilling, Douglas “Trey” Parker III, Taylor Parker, and two great grandchildren, Douglas “Harry” Parker IV, and Charlotte Parker.   

   A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Mrs. Parker’s memory.
