Patsy L. Gentry

1935 - 2021

Patsy L. Gentry of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday morning at the Ben-Hur Home.  She was 85.

Patsy loved to sing.  She was always singing.  She was formerly a member of the Fleming Garden Christian Church and more recently at Woodland Heights Christian Church.  She worked as an accountant for the Christian Pension Fund.

Born Dec. 1, 1935 in Frankfort, she was the daughter of Earle A. Taylor and Margaret “Dolly” Sharp Taylor.  She graduated from Ben Davis High School.

Surviving family includes: two daughters, Belinda Magill of Crawfordsville and Juli Barker (Terry) of South Bend; sister, Joyce Osborn; grandson, Mitch Barker (Brooke); granddaughter-in-law, Tina Gentry; great-grandchildren, Grahm Gentry and Jade Gentry; close family friend, Jessie Logston.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terry Mitchell and a grandson, Jeremy Gentry.

There will not be a public visitation or funeral.  There will be a graveside service Monday, Oct. 11 at 2 PM at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made at www.BurkhartFH.com.
