I knew Paul and Jacqueline when they were members of Chesterfield Athletic Club. They were both extremely good tennis players and contributed in a big way to CAC. When I think of Paul I think of a true gentleman and a very classy person. Paul had many many friends at CAC, he was greatly admired. It was such a privilege for me to know Paul and Jacqueline.

My condolences to Jacqueline and Paul's family. Ar dheis De go raith a anam - may his soul be at God's right hand. Paul was my best friend in our boyhood in Newark's Ironbound. We served early Mass together when servers gave responses at the foot of the altar in Latin. We were classmates at St. Benedict's Grammar School, graduating in 1955. The Fehrenbachs were a large and loving family who always extended a warm welcome to us Clark boys when we came over to play. Paul was a model of strength and loyalty. No better friend.

My deepest condolences at this great loss of a beloved man. Paul was a prince, and my all time favorite "father of a friend". He was always the person who noticed someone wasn't up on the dance floor and would always ask them to dance - I saw him do this at various events and was so intrigued at how sharp he was at reading a room. I am grateful for the countless laughs and stories from skiing in Vermont or visits at the Chesterfield house. No one will ever forget when the bear ate Paul Jr's pasta outside the cabin. As the official mascot of the Fehrenbach family (FFM for short) I was witness to so much love and humor and deep, serious talks about life with Paul - I treasure every moment, am grateful for the generous hospitality the entire family granted me and share deeply in your grief.
