Paul Richard “Rick” Riccio, 83 of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab. Mr. Riccio was born in Schenectady, NY to the late Alfonso and Pansy Riccio.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Quesenberry Riccio; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kim Riccio of Mount Airy, NC and Glennon and Lisa Riccio of Denver, NC; daughter, Rhonda Riccio of Woodlawn, VA; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Sue Riccio of Scotia, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Coulson Church at 2:00 PM with Dr. Wayburn Mosley and Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Melton Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to your favorite charity or God’s Pit Crew. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
