Paula Cude, a woman whose life was defined by compassion, faith and service to others, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025 at the age of 58.
She was a gentle soul with a strong and steady spirit - a devoted caretaker, a loving friend, and a true prayer warrior. Her faith guided her every step, and she found her greatest joy in serving others with kindness, grace, and a heart full of love. Paula had a special bond with animals. She cared deeply for all of God's creatures, but especially for her two beloved dogs Rani and Maya, who were more than pets - they were her family and constant companions.
Her kitchen was always warm with the smell of something sweet. She loved baking and sharing her homemade treats with friends, neighbors, and anyone in need of a little joy.
She touched countless lives through her care and compassion, always putting others first. Whether trending to a loved one, offering a prayer, or lending a hand to someone in need, she lived a life of quiet strength and selfless love. " Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25: 23. She was preceded in death by father, J.B. Kyser; mother, Lois Hughes Kyser Hernandez; stepfather, Joe Hernandez Sr; brothers, Terrell David Kyser and William Kyser, stepsister, Margaret Hernandez.
She is survived by son, Jonathan Kyser, daughter, Rebecca Cude, brothers, Rollen Kyser, Paul Kyser (Karen), stepbrother, Joe Hernandez (Diane), stepsister, Brenda Hernandez. She is also survived by an abundance of extended loved ones including numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on August 12, 2025 at 2PM at Evans Funeral Home with Sue Kendrick and Tom Bush officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
