Pauline Randolph Obituary

Pauline Randolph, 74, of Stockertown, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and quiet strength that will live on in all who knew her.

Born September 8, 1951, in Dunmore to the late Louis Cantafio and Mary (Gatto) Cantafio, Pauline carried forward the values of family, compassion, and generosity throughout her life. She shared a beautiful 47-year marriage with her beloved husband, Wayne Randolph, who preceded her in death in 2021. Their love was the center of her world. They were rarely apart, choosing to do life side by side—whether in the everyday routines or life’s special moments. Together, they built a life rooted in deep love, devotion, and unwavering support, setting an example of what a true partnership looks like.

Pauline was a devoted mother to Jarred and his wife, Jenny, and Lisa and her husband, Matthew. Nothing brought her greater joy than being “Grandma” to Olivia, Natalie, Hayden, Jamison, Lillian, and Paxton. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them—whether it was sharing stories, laughter, or simply being together.

Pauline was a proud 1969 graduate of Dunmore Central Catholic High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in education from East Stroudsburg University in 1973. A retired elementary school teacher, Pauline dedicated her career to nurturing young minds with patience, kindness, and encouragement. She was a proud member of the PSEA, NEA, and BAEA, and she carried her love for teaching far beyond the classroom, touching countless lives in ways both big and small.

Pauline was also a faithful member of Saint Rocco’s Catholic Church. Her faith was quiet but strong, guiding her life and the way she cared for others.

She is survived by her loving sister, Concetta Toman, and her brother, Vince Cantafio. She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony “Taps” Cantafio. She leaves behind beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pauline will be remembered for her kind heart, her giving nature, and her ever-present smile. She had a way of making people feel welcomed and cared for, and her warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—getting lost in a good book, watching her favorite Hallmark movies, enjoying time in Atlantic City, and, most of all, being surrounded by her family.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Pauline’s memory are invited to do so in a way that reflects her generous spirit and the love she shared so freely, whether through a gesture of kindness, a charitable act, or a contribution made to the family, to be donated in her honor.

Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, but there is comfort in knowing that she is once again reunited with the love of her life—together again, just as they always were.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 PM on Wednesday, April 8th, at St. Rocco's Catholic Church, 6658 School Street, Martins Creek, PA. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering from 10 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday, April 8th, at the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at New Catholic Cemetery in Roseto, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Bangor, PA.

Sorry to see such a beautiful soul left so soon. Pauline had an infectious laugh that made us all feel so good. Pauline put a smile on my face each day I had the privilege to work with her. Her children and grandchildren are so precious to have Pauline.
