Peg Esher Obituary
Unexpectedly on June 30, 2024, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 74 years.
Beloved wife of 53 years to Pastor Richard Esher. Dear mother of Chad (Jennifer) Esher, Nicole (Shawn) Zook and the late Janel Lee Esher. Loving grandmother of Emily, Gwen, Aryana, Ethan, Lauren, Sisay, Josiah, Dylan and Scarlett. She is also lovingly survived by her sister, Beverly (Dale) Skidmore and brother, Chuck Schwandt.
Peg was a very supportive Pastor's wife and mother to their children. She was a Junior High Sunday School teacher. She was also a talented artist, which included her chalk art ministry and her famous cake baking skills.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, July 6, 2024, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Browns Mills United Methodist Church, 2 Pemberton Browns Mills Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015. Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donation's may be made in Peg's memory to the Browns Mills United Church at the above address and/or First United Methodist Church of Collingswood, 201 Dayton Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108.

To Nicole, Chad, and Pastor Dick- I was so saddened to hear about Peggy’s passing. She was like a “second mom” to me, so many fond memories of her at FUMC Colls. My deepest condolences for everyone who was blessed to have received the rewards of interacting with this amazing mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and brother. Although Peg will be truly missed, let’s rejoice with her celebrating eternal life and happiness with her missed family and beautiful Janel. Praying peace, love, and happiness in Jesus to all. I have so many fond memories of church get togethers at your house as a teenager and feel blessed to have grown up at First United Methodist Church in Collingswood enjoying all your teaching with Pastor Dick an to have had you and Pastor Dick at my wedding. Peg was a good person she did awesome with us in junior church and I enjoyed her lessons and I enjoyed her chalk talk and her delicious cakes

Peg was my Sunday School teacher when I was a teenager. Then we sang together in a women's choir at church. We giggled together a lot! I loved her giggle! I ordered many a delicious cake from her as well. She and Dick just moved in down the street from us and I was blessed to see her last week. She will truly be missed on this earth, but what a privilege to know she is reunited with Janel in heaven!
