A celebration of life service for Mr. Perk “Smokey” Bush, Jr. who passed on March 1, 2022 will be held on Saturday March 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Rev. David Jones, Sr. officiating.
Mr. Perk Bush, Jr. was born in Lamont, Florida on December 26, 1939 to the parentage of Perk and Ethel Bush. He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and later became a heavy equipment operator for Cone Brothers until his retirement. Perk, Jr. enjoyed fishing, cooking, traveling, playing dominoes, listening to music and being with his wife, Alberta “Pankey” Bush.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perk Bush, Sr. and Ethel Bush; brothers, Rubin and James Bush.
Mr. Bush leaves to cherish precious memories of him with wife, Alberta Bush; sons, Calvin and Steven Bush; daughters, Kimberly and Monica Bush, Christine Laster, Sebrina Marsh and KaTrina Williams; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Roosevelt Bush (Joan), Ronnie Rush (Crystal), Gary Bush (Shelia) and Keith Bush; sisters, Barbara Ann Burnett, Dorothy Bush, Vanderlyn Bush, Debra Jean Edwards (Jack) and Cynthia Bush; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and family in and around the Tampa Bay area, Thonotosassa, Dade City, Lamont, Florida as well as the New York City area.

Last time I seen you was at dads shop. We hug and laugh as always. You were leaving the shop saying bye and I was like like dang uncle Smokey still look cool as ever in that F-150! I had to snap a pic. I know you up there bustin some jokes
