Peter Walter Marchese

1972 - 2022

Peter Walter Marchese passed away in Tempe, Arizona on December 15, 2022.  He was born in Wilmington NC on September 13,1972.
 
Peter is preceded in death by his parents; Michael John Marchese and Garnetta Dot Marchese and brothers Michael Marchese and Richard Marchese. 
 
Peter is survived by his wife Jennifer West and his children Caleb Mitchell, Chloe Engels, and Cadence Nelson, Brittany Ceceys, Michael Marchese, Cameron Marchese, Ryan Ewing.  Brothers John Marchese and Christopher Marchese.  Sisters Shelley Marchese, Theresa Marchese and Susan Marchese and numerous nephews, nieces & grand-children. 
 
Everyone dies, but not everyone lives. Pete lived. He lived life to the fullest. Racing horses, motorcycles, and traveling. Pete had the best sense of humor and most infectious laugh. He had a heart of gold and was often described as one of the most lovable people you would ever meet. He was a fierce protector.  If he saw someone in trouble he did not hesitate to get involved. He faced illness with such courage and acceptance; almost as if this was his next adventure.  
 
Pete's family would like to thank Jennifer West and Diana O'Neal for their love, compassion and care during the time he was ill and Cadence Nelson (Noodles), for bringing him such joy during that time. 
 
Pete truly had no fear. Someone once took a picture of Pete hanging over a cliff in the Grand Canyon smiling. That was Pete.
 
Pete will be missed and the void left is more then words could ever describe. He will be carried in the hearts of so many.  How blessed we were to have had someone who made saying goodbye so hard. 
A memorial service will be held in Wilmington NC
