Uncle Pete was well-loved. We will miss him. I have many happy childhood memories of him and his laughter.

So sorry to hear of this. He was a nice man and I worked with him and his kids at Wyeth and always enjoyed knowing them.

Peter's Obituary

Peter Marino, Sr., age 86 of West Chester, PA died on December 26, 2016. Beloved husband of Doris Marino (nee Whisler). Pete was born on November 8, 1930 in Paoli, PA to the late Antonio Marino and Antoinette Masselli. He was a graduate of Tredyffrin-Easttown High School, was a veteran of the US Marines and was a former member of Paoli VFW Post 8302. Pete worked at Foote Mineral in Exton, PA for 17 years prior to retiring from Wyeth Laboratories Great Valley in Malvern, PA where he enjoyed bowling in the league. After his retirement from Wyeth Pete began his auto parts delivery career with Malvern Auto until he was age 81. He was known to carry doggie treats at all times and had a special bond with his beloved dog Bear. He enjoyed horse racing, especially betting the Triple Crown with his daughter, football, especially playing the pools with his son, jigsaw puzzles, old movies, telling jokes, writing songs, but most importantly, spending time with his family. Pete had a wonderful sense of humor.

Husband of Doris Marino (nee Whisler); Pop of Peter Marino, Jr. (Marion) of Exton, PA and Patricia A. Palmer (Richard) of Downingtown, PA; brother of Pasquale Marino of Pocopson Twp., PA and Francis Resendiz of Malvern, PA; Pop Pop of Michael (Angela), Alexander (Brooke), Danica, and Madeline; Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES:

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Peter’s life celebration service on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11am at Mauger-Givnish Funeral Home 24 Monument Avenue Malvern, PA, where friends may visit from 10-11am. Interment will take place on Saturday, December 31, 2016 ay 9am at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
