  Graveside services for Phillip A. Posey, 48, of Coushatta, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 7, 2025 in Bethany Cemetery, Coushatta, LA.  Officiating will be Bro. Colin Wimberly.

  Phillip was born November 3, 1977 in Shreveport, LA and passed away suddenly, December 4, 2025 in Shreveport, LA.

  He was preceded in death by his mother, Angela Barnard; brothers, Leland Posey and Roy Don Barnard and a nephew, Jackie Fowler.

  Left to cherish his memory include his dad, Jackie Posey of Coushatta, LA; daughters, Katie Young of Ringgold, LA, Hannah Posey of Monroe, LA, Bridgette Johnson and husband, Logan of Goldonna, LA, Brianna Posey of Campti, LA and Kaylee Posey of Goldonna, LA; brothers, Chris Posey and wife, Paula of Coushatta, LA, James “JC” Posey and Tristan of Colfax, LA, Andrew Barnard of Hall Summit, LA, Johnny Barnard of Coushatta, LA; sisters, Stephanie Fowler and husband, John of Ringgold, LA, Delanie Dowden and husband, Travis of Coushatta, LA, Chelsea Morgan and husband, Zachary of Hall Summit, LA and Jennifer Barnard of Ringgold, LA; special friend, Gwen Wood of Coushatta, LA, 8 grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.

  Pallbearers will be Andrew Barnard, Brandon LeBrun, Travis Dowden, Johnny Barnard, David Wood, Will Breshers and Billy Bledsoe.
