Not sure what to say?

Dear Jim & Family
We just heard of Prudy’s passing. Sending our deepest sympathy to all of you at this time. Prudy was a lovely person & a joy to know her.
Blessings, Al & Sharon Bielmeier

Prudy was a student with me at Buffalo Bible Institute in the early sixties. She was a good student with a positive attitude. She was very active in extracurricular activities on campus. I lost contact with her and Jim over the years. It's good that both remained faithful to the Lord. The Apostle Paul said for me to live is Christ and to die is gain". (Philippians 1:21). She was a talented person to say the least. Our prayers are with the family at this time.

Prayers for Prudy that she may continue feel the love of God. she was a great mentor to me at the Bus Garage, I appreciated her friendship. My Prayers to her loving family to help you through these tough times. We were all so lucky to have had the time we did with her. Rosanne Faulhaber

Jim and family I am so sorry for your loss. May God be merciful and grant you all peace, as He has granted a healing peace to Prudy.

A Godly woman that is this world's loss and heaven's gain.

Prudence's Obituary

ALLEIN – Prudence (Prudy)

(nee Rankie)

Of Lancaster NY, Prudy went home to be with her Lord on November 27, 2020; beloved wife of James B., loving mother of Amy (Lee) Perl and Laura (Richard) Keller.  Loving grandmother of Brian (Erin) Perl, Jason Perl, Laurel Perl, Colleen Perl, Kyle Perl, Ryan Keller, Hannah Keller, and Abby Keller.  Prudy was also great-grandmother to Madalynn, Travis, Christine, Jackson, Cooper, and Joleih.  Sister of Roy Rankie (late Thelma) and Barbara (John) Clare.  Also survived by her cousin Susan Rowell and many nieces and nephews.

Born to Richard and Loraine Rankie on July 21, 1943 and raised in Lockport NY, Prudy loved gardening, fly fishing, and watching birds gather at her many bird feeders.  Photography became a serious hobby which allowed her to capture the beauty of God’s birds for all to enjoy.  She would make greeting cards, using her photos and Bible verses, to share with other cancer patients to give them encouragement and a spiritual uplift while she herself was being treated for leukemia.

Everyone she became acquainted with or knew was touched by her inner beauty and her love for God.  She always thought of others first, and then herself.  She loved her Lord, talking often to others of His love for everyone.  Prudy was a fighter, not wanting to leave her loved ones but looking forward to being with her Lord Jesus.

A service celebrating Prudy’s beautiful life will be held in the spring, her favorite time of the year when her birds would return to her backyard.  Gifts in her memory may be given to the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, 1610 Welch Road, North Java NY 14113.  Share condolences at
