I became friends with Raymond several years ago. I work in Marion on several construction jobs. Raymond repaired several small engine tools for me. I would visit him and he would tell me of his fishing adventures with his grandson and how they would talk , Raymond called it stump secession. I took his great advice on several life lessons we would discuss and passed them to my sons . Raymond was a good friend and although I haven’t seen him for a long time I cherished our friendship. I would bring him apple butter and he and his wife would find my Jobsite in town to come by and thank me. I know he was loved by many and I consider myself very grateful to have known him.

I have a lot of good memories with Aunt Pat and Uncle Raymond. I'll never forget when I was younger and they took me on vacation with them to Florida and we went out in the swamp on a boat. He was a really good man who believed in God and lived his life accordingly. I'm so sorry for the loss that Aunt Pat, Patty, Tony and Corbin are enduring now. God bless all of them! I would like to include this prayer: Dear gracious heavenly Father, Lord I humbly ask that You be with my family in their time of sorrow and loss. Lord that you give them strength, courage and comfort through each passing day. And Lord that You lead and guide them each step of the way. Uncle Raymond is with You now Lord and he reunited with Charlie, what a reunion that must have been! Lord, thank you for our many blessings given to us by You, in Jesus Holy and Precious name I pray, Amen
