Nicky was truly one of a kind. He could turn an ordinary day into an unforgettable one (whether you were ready for it or not). He got on all our nerves, but he had the biggest heart when it came to the people he loved.
He was always going to, “call you right back” - and maybe he did or maybe he didn’t. Or he’d say, “I’ll be back in 5 minutes” then vanish. But if you really needed him? He’d show up, no questions asked. Ever since I was a kid — even when he was in Texas — I *always* knew I could call my cousin Nicky to take care of things!
His family meant everything to him — especially his Mom, MA, Alexys, Alana, Aliana, and Yiyi. He was Yiyi’s favorite grandchild and I hope they’re together again.
I’ll miss his jokes, his crazy stories, how he brought everyone together and many other things.
Rest easy, Nicky. You were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.

Well Nicky this is something I never wanted to do but here we are. You were so loved by all of us. You were the funny nephew and the most generous person to everyone you knew. You were very special to my mom and her to you. Your sensitivity was infectious and your love for Alexys and granddaughters was unbelievable. I will miss you so much. I’m going to pray for your soul and family. Rest in peace Nicky
