Raymond St. Pierre Obituary

Raymond St. Pierre, 69, of Meriden, husband of Susan (Smith) St. Pierre, passed away January 27, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in New Brunswick, Canada on March 18, 1951, a son of the late Laurent and Alice (Devost) St. Pierre.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist supervisor for many years until retiring. Raymond was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who adored his two grandchildren. He will be missed terribly and was a hero to his sons.

In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by his sons, Joshua St. Pierre of Meriden and Jeremy St. Pierre and his wife, Brandy, of Northford; his sisters, Colette Martin, Nicole Ardolino, Marlene D’Agostino, Joyce St. Pierre, Mona D’Onofrio and Charlotte Lemieux; his brothers, Bertrand and Euclide St. Pierre; his grandchildren, Jillian Rose and Gianna Lynn St. Pierre; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Donald St. Pierre and Numa Devost.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at State Veteran’s Cemetery in Middletown.
