Raymonde "Ramy" Bryar Obituary


Raymonde (Ramy) Micheline Bryar, 81, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on March 23, 2017.



Raymonde was born on November 14, 1935, Bran, France, to the late Raymond and Simone Baranger. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and teacher to many.



She is survived by her husband, Richard (Dick) Bryar; and her children Bob Bryar and his wife Pat, Richard Bryar Jr. and his wife Carol, and Ron Bryar and his wife Cathy. She is also survived by her brother, Guy Baranger and his wife Monique, in France; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nephews, nieces, and their extended families.



A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 10 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville. Inurnment will follow the service at 2:00 PM at Glenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 8 from 3:00-6:00 PM with a prayer service at 4:30 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.



In loving memory of Ramy, memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd Elementary School, 1748 Charlotte Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28115, where Miss Ramy taught and volunteered for many years.

Dear Family,
Ramy touched so many lives. She helped and encouraged me (a new teacher) at Shepherd Elementary in so many ways. Oh how I loved to hear her speak French!!! She will be fondly and lovingly remembered for her endless help and love for everyone!! Especially her school babies.
