Rebecca Philemon Obituary
Mrs. Rebecca Philemon, 75, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Monroe. Born July 11, 1949, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Earnest Hinson and Vernie Hartsell Hinson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Hinson.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rebecca will be 11 AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Morgan & Son Chapel with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 – 10:45 at the funeral home on Wednesday.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Larry Philemon, children, Jeff Philemon (Michelle), Jeremy Philemon (Malia), grandchildren, Colin, Garret, Khloe and Austin; sister, Colette Shaver.
