Regina Margaret Maenner (nee O’Neill), beloved wife of the late Gerald M. Maenner, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday, July 28, 2025.
Born on August 16, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis O’Neill and Regina Corcoran O’Neill. Regina was a proud graduate of West Catholic Girls High School-Class of 1955, where she was on the reunion committee. During her 52 years in Drexel Hill, Jean, as she was known to many, was past President of the Bonner High School Mother’s Club and Saint Andrew Parish Women’s Club. She was an avid reader who always had a book at her side, and never passed up a game of Canasta. Jean truly enjoyed the countless hours she spent caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
SURVIVORS:
Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald M. Maenner; her son Jerry Maenner (Deb); brothers Francis O’Neill (Kathy) & Joe O’Neill.
She is survived by her sons Joseph Maenner, and James Maenner (Michele); sister Barbara Shoup (late Ron); Grandmother of Matt (Bria), Alex (Rebecca), Jeff (Rachel), Andrew, Monica, Tim, Molly, and Sarah; Great Grandmother of Silas, Charlotte, Riley, Chandler, Owen, and Jack.
SERVICES:
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Regina’s visitation on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 10am-11am at Saint Andrew the Apostle Church 3500 School Lane Drexel Hill, PA, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment to follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. Attendees are encouraged to wear green in memory of Regina.
