Renee is one of my best friends and always will be. I moved to Michigan in middle school and she was one of the first people that was nice to me and we became fast friends. Our small group of friends did everything together; we even had our own language.

Over the years she flew to Oregon once when she knew that I needed her, and I flew back to Michigan when she told me of her diagnosis. Renee, Jenny and I laughed and cried together like we were back in middle school - thank you...
