Rev. Hubert Blake Sr. Obituary
Rev. Hubert Lee Blake Sr., 83, passed away on August 25, 2023. Visitation will be held on September 1, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Jones-Washington Mortuary. A service to honor his life will be held on September 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Old Bethlehem Baptist Church 5306 FM 2039 Caldwell, followed by interment at Old Bethlehem Cemetery. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this difficult time.

I had the honor of Rev. Blake's friendship since 2019, I met him doing title research in the oil and gas industry and we became good friends. We shared many meals at the Surrey Inn, the Four Tines and few sitting in his front yard when he didn't feel like going to town. I valued his friendship and will cherish his memory. My sincere condolances to the family, Rev. Blake will be missed by many including me.
