Richard Heinold Obituary

Clinton-Richard C. “Dick” Heinold, 82, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Evergreen House Health Center in East Providence, Rhode Island.  He is survived by his goddaughter, Tina Marie Marino, several cousins, close friends Louis and Ruth Federici, their children and spouses, Louis Federici II & Jennifer, Gino Federici & Rosy, Amanda Circeo & Jeffrey, and Theresa DaLomba & Roger.  He was predeceased by his stepfather, George “Dougie” Fairbanks.

Son of the late Clarence Heinold & Alice (Marino) Fairbanks, Dick was born and raised in Clinton and was a graduate of Clinton High School, Class of 1960.  Dick was later drafted in the U.S. Army and would serve his country as an Aerial Photogrammetrist until his honorable discharge in 1966.  Dick spent his professional career as an Aerial Photogrammetrist and was part owner of H.S. & Associates.  He was later self employed as a Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Appraiser.  Dick was a member of the Manville Sportsman’s Club where he enjoyed shooting.  He was also an avid hunter, enjoying yearly hunting trips with his closest friends to a variety of destinations, notably, Canada, Wyoming, Maine, New York, New Hampshire, and South Dakota, where he got the chance to marvel at the great Mount Rushmore. Another favorite hobby of his was playing golf and reminiscing about his time as a catcher for the Clinton High School Baseball Team, which he was very proud of.  He also enjoyed his food and loved family time with the Federici’s whom he adored so much.
