Richard P. Simard Obituary
SIMARD, Richard P.-Of Everett, passed away at home on April 21, 2014, at 71 years. Beloved son of the late Joseph P. and Marguerite (Lewis) Simard. Loving husband of Bette (Obery) Simard. Loving father of Margo Trickett and her husband William of Everett, Janine Simard and her fiancé James Dias of Northboro. Loving brother of Helen MacLaughlin and her husband Lester of Everett, James Simard and his wife Lois of Lynnfield, Joseph Simard and his wife Leslye of Salem, NH, and William Simard and his wife Dorothy of Saugus. Cherished grandfather of Heather Trickett and her fiancé Eric Murray, Eric Trickett, Danny and Katie Barletta. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Saturday, April 26th, at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Mr. Simard was retired computer technician for the former NE Telephone Company and, was a former coach and longtime avid supporter for Everett Football.
