Richard Larry Coleman “Rick”, 74 of Cottondale, Florida passed from this life on January 9, 2026 at Noland Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.
Rick was born on November 10, 1951, in Georgia. He had been a resident of Jackson County since 1983. Rick enjoyed spending time outdoors, riding his golf cart, hunting, and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Renny Coleman; grandson: Brody Thomas Lipford.
He is survived by his daughter: Georgia Lipford (Terry) of Marianna, FL; grandchildren: Thomas Lipford (Kristen), Justin Lipford (Abby); great-grandchildren: Hunter Lipford, Kason Lipford.
Graveside service will be held 11AM Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Cottondale Assembly of God Cemetery with Pastor Shane Obert officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.
