FISHER, Rita;
of Waterford; born January 14, 1944 in Pontiac to James and Mildred Wingett;
passed away January 8, 2026 at the age of 81;
preceded in death recently by her husband of 40 years, Wayne; mother of Marty Kirkwood, Tracy (the late David) Martin, and Kenny Kirkwood; step-mother of Deron Fisher and Amy Fisher; Grandma of Phillip (Vanessa) Bagwell, Tim Bagwell and Raven Bagwell; great grandma of Ivy Bagwell and Oliver Laskey; sister of Kathy (Keith) Bradley, Cheryl (Jim) Wingett-Bolton, Jerry (Shirley) Wingett and James (Alyce) Wingett; preceded in death by her parents and siblings: John Wingett, Pamela Bilbey and Darlene Jones.
Rita was a waitress /bartender and auxiliary member of Campbell-Richmond Post 63 of the American Legion. She enjoyed golfing, thrift shopping and visiting casinos. Most of all, she loved spending time with family.
Cemetery service Friday, January 16th at 12:30pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly (meet at cemetery staging area at 12:15pm)
Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.
Memorials may be made to Campell-Richmond Post 63 of the American Legion, 8047 Ortonville Road, Clarkston, MI 48348.

She wasn't just a sister..she was a friend who u could call and talk to 4 hours at a time..tho we didn't live close together.we still had alot of good times when got together..shopping casino. She was loved very much by everyone....her home was always opened to family and friends..Her and wayne both we're good people to all.. God got 2 angles Rest in peace.
