Rita Hudler Obituary
Rita Holt Hudler, 75, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1950, to the late James Russell Holt and Ruby Haley Holt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby R. Hudler.
Rita devoted her career to caring for others as a registered nurse, a profession she dearly loved. Earlier in life, she also worked as a truck driver. Outside of her work, she enjoyed the simple joys of life—spending time fishing, and she had a special love for her cats.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin Walker (Lindsey) and Greg Walker (Jessica); her grandson, Michael Walker; her brother, Jimmy Holt; her sister, Ann Holt; along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Roselawn Burial Park, with Pastor Donald Kendrick officiating.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Rita as a nurse. We had some amazing times. I got to see her again when she was in the hospital. It was so wonderful to see her again after all the passing years.
