Rita Vallo Obituary

Rita Vallo, 77, of Bonne Terre passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at her home. She was born Monday, June 14, 1937 to the late John and Garnetta (Comte) Hahn. Rita was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she participated in one of her favorite pass times, quilting. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Rita is preceded in death by son, Britt Wayne Wilson; step-daughter, Sheila Steele; step-grandson, Chad Steele; three brothers, Earl Hahn, Clyde Hahn, and Gilbert Hahn; three sisters, Lula Hahn, Helen Hahn, and Mary Hahn.
Rita is survived by her husband, Robert Vallo; children, Christine Heath, Craig Wilson and wife Ginger, Darin Wilson and wife Lisa; step-children, Tina Johnston and husband Jeff and Linda Hoeft and husband Gary; sixteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Hahn and wife Lonigene; and sister Pearl Roux.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2014 beginning with a Prayer Service at 5:00 PM with visitation continuing until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10:00 AM St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre with Father Jim French officiating. Interment following at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bonne Terre. Memorials can be directed to the American Cancer Society.
