I’m so sorry to hear of your family’s loss. Although I’ve only known Bob a short time, it’s like I’ve known him my whole life! His boisterous laugh and voice will most definitely be missed, not to mention, his ability to captivate a room when telling a story. Prayers for your whole family- Brenda B (Mosaic PT and RHS ATC)

Cathy, Wayne and I are thinking of you and the good times we shared in Manhattan during Wayne's and Bob's KSU football days. When visiting the Athletic Dorm for the first time and meeting Bob, I recall thinking that Wayne had won the roommate lottery! Years later, we were pleasantly surprised when Bob appeared on our Chicago doorstep for a fun evening of reminiscing to the tune of Springsteen's "Glory Days."
Wishing you strength and love, Nancy & Wayne Boberg

Though I never met Bob while I was at Central, he was an upperclassman we all looked up to. There are two things I specifically remember about him. The first was when he was voted Athlete of the Year. The second was his girlfriend and that was Cathy Rich. Cathy was in my freshman homeroom civics class with Coach Sprague. I thought she was so pretty and I had the biggest crush on her. Though I never met Bob, he was the “coolest” guy. Rest in peace Bob and may your family surrounded by love of family and friends.

Going to miss a teammate and Golden Cat. Bob was very good to me over the years, always with a smile. He was always quick to say hello at our Golden Cat events, and I will always remember his encouragement to me as a younger player at K-State. Rest easy my friend...

Prayers to family and friends. I am a Riverside alumni and always loved when I walked in and got to see that big smile from Mr. Brandt. I now attend Kansas State and was happy to learn that he too shared the passion for the purple. Go cats! An amazing teacher and mentor, thanks for everything Mr. Brandt.

Mr. Brandt alway knew what to say when you needed inspiration, he would push you to do better because he knew you were better. He would make the time for individuals when the system passed them by.

I never knew you were a Mason but now being one myself, it all makes sense. Your life goal was to make your community a better place, while growing young people’s confidence that they too can make their community proud.
To be one ask one.

Rest easy brother for your work here is done.
So Mote it Be.
Thank you,
Phillip

Mr. Brandt was a blessing to have as a substitute at mid-buchanan. He always came in with his news paper and kept up to date with all the sports. He constantly checked in to see how practice and games were going. My deepest and most sincere condolences. May God be with you through this time.

I knew Mr. Brandt from working with him in the garden department in Home Depot. He taught me a lot about work ethic and what value that should hold in a young man´s life. I would try to give him trouble but he´d never budge, any time I´d get upset or angry while working he´d take the time to provide an alternative to my anger and of course he´d crack a joke whilst doing so. A direct quote from him (and it´s something I´ll never forget) while we were tackling a tiring project in the garden center- "The way I see it, we got two options chase: get this job done or we can sit around and cry about it. I´ll tell you one thing though young man, I´m no crier." Rest easy Bob, hope they got golf up there.

Mr. Brandt was a big role in me graduating on time and successfully. I still have his letter of recommendation for me for my bachelors degree from high school and many great memories. I’m not sure if he ever got the chance to know I made it through my masters degree and currently debating a PhD! I think of him often especially if I think back on high school. I know we all have our time.. BUT WHHHHYYYY NOT MR. BRANT
