Robert D. Conley, 87, of Bangor, PA passed away Wednesday, September 15th, at his residence.
Robert was born in South Fork, PA on October 31, 1933, a son of the late Michael S. and Margaret (Clymire) Conley.
He was the husband of Georgann M. (Hull) Conley. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary last April. Robert was a 1952 graduate of South Fork - Croyle High School in South Fork, PA. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, in the 862nd Engineer Aviation Combat Engineer stationed at the Rhein-Main Air Base in Frankfurt, Germany.
He was employed as an Electrician at E.I. Dupont in Linden, NJ, for 25 years, until retiring in 1992.
Robert was a member of New Durham Chapel in Piscataway, NJ.
In addition to his wife Georgann, Robert is survived by two daughters Terri Noble and Susan Skiba, and three grandchildren Kelly, Daniel, and Connor. Robert was predeceased by five sisters Hazel, Helen, Lois, Margaret, and Catherine, and one brother William.
