This makes me so sad. I worked with Bob at Station 18 for many years and you could never ask for a better guy as a co-worker and friend. I am so sorry for your loss.

I met Mr. Ekdahl at my nieces wedding. My observation was a man of a few words, but much humility. His grandson Ryan is my nephew and married to my niece Emily. The legacy he left and passed down to Julie and then to Ryan, shows what type of man he was with character and honesty that will never go unappreciated. Our loves goes out to you Mrs. Rita, Julie and Ryan and all the other family members. You are in our prayers during this time!
