I know I'm not good with words and, despite the helpful suggestions, I still really don't know what to say. I love you, Grandpa, and I will miss you dearly. I'm glad I was able to spend the Christmas holiday with you and Grandma. I know I can't be with all of you right now but I am sending my love to Minnesota.

I couldn't ask for a better Grandpa. He was there when I needed a hug, a chat, or just a bowl of ice cream. He encouraged my adventures, and helped me look at being a veteran from different glasses. I will miss him greatly, and a piece of my heart goes with him.

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing, he was a good neighbor and a well respected township board member and craftsman with his cement work. He served on boards with my father and helped run the basement floor in my house, I always felt he did things to the best of his ability and with the utmost integrity .

Ethel, I am so glad we had the opportunity to visit with Bob and you and Reinhold and Barb last year. Sharing some of our life experiences, military and civilian, was interesting since we didn't get to see each other very often over the years. Now we want to offer our sympathy and assure you that you and your family are in our prayers.

Thanking God for the many times we had together growing up. It was always a special time to come down to the farm and spend the day with family... just simply being together and catching up with each other. Thank you for always making the effort to be at all the special occasions too. Your presence meant so much! Thankful now that you are resting at peace in the arms of Jesus. See you again someday!!
Love Stephanie

I'm going to miss you my little big brother! Bob left home to join the US Marine Corps when I was only 5 years old and I didn't get to really know him until Herb and I were married and moved to California. Bob was a warm, good hearted, hard working, respected, emotional and very loving Christian man. He has now joined the Church Triumphant to be with his Lord and Savior joining his two sons, Kurt and Eric, and brother-in-law Herb. My love to Ethel, Reinold and Barb, Laurie and grandchildren. We celebrate Bob's life here and give him back to his Creator Redeemer! ❤Little Sister
