Robert "Robbie" John Hoffman III Obituary
Robbie was a graduate of UMSL with a degree in Business Administration. He enjoyed working out, doing anything outdoors: hunting, fishing, exploring, art, USML baseball, slow pitch softball with his family, hanging out with his brother, and spending time with his parents.
Services: Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish, 601 N 4th St, St Charles, Monday, 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dogwood Animal Shelter, Osage Beach, MO. Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Rd., Ballwin, Sunday 4-8 p.m. and at church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass. A luncheon will be provided immediately following Mass in the parish cafeteria. All are welcome to attend. Friends may sign the family’s on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

Robbie always shared his beautiful smile and an lingering hug to all those in his path here on earth and can still feel his presence when walking into a room with his loving and caring mom, dad and brother. Robbie's work on earth was complete way too soon for those who loved him, but God needed another angel to love and protect us remaining. Miss you so much sweet Robbie.

Rob, Pat and Bryan & the rest of Robbie's family; Words can't express how our hearts are breaking for you all at this very difficult time. We have so many memories of Robbie traveling with us first on the Redwings Team and then the Defenders. It was a joy to watch him grow in the game of baseball. Robbie was always smiling, always gave the game 110+%, so dedicated and was it was an honor to have him as part of the team. My dear cousin Pat, Rob and Bryan. Know that Cheryl and I are beside you now, our arms around your shoulders. You are surrounded by family and friends. The love that Robbie gave others is evident in the many notes here, as is the love you and Rob gave to him and his friends as they grew. We haven't seen you often enough but I remember years ago seeing you two and the boys and the love and effort you put into raising your family. We share the sorrow and grief so many others have expressed as well as the prayers and strength they offer to you. Condolences and prayers to the Hoffman Family. Robbie was a great friend to my sons over the years. He was one of the first friends Jonathan ever had and their friendship will last forever. We're thankful for the many memories that came from not only Robbie but the whole Hoffman family. I can also truly never thank Pat and Rob enough for all the times they encouraged the boys to stay over night while keeping them well feed. It is not often that a family has such a strong and positive impact that you all have had on ours. Thank you and we all appreciate the time we got to spend with Robbie, he will be sorely missed.
