I’ve known Robin since I was 8 years old. Her son Steven it’s my best friend, Mel babysat me and drove me to high school, and Dest is another sister to me. I grow up with Robin in my life and had the great honor and privilege of having her in my life as a second mom. She was the most kind warm hearted person I have met. An did a wonderful job instilling those qualities into her son, daughters an granddaughters. I love her very much and am heartbroken she is no longer with us but I know God is truly blessed to have her in heaven.

I had the pleasure of knowing Robin through her working in preadmission testing at SJMO. I will always fondly remember Robin for her great sense of humor. Even when work was crazy and life gave her challenges, Robin still had a great sense of humor. She will be missed!

I had the honor of working with Robin for many years at St. Joe’s; she worked in PAT and I was in PREOP. It was my job to check patient charts from PAT the day before they came in for their surgery and everything needed was always in place. She was very thorough and never left out any details. In addition to being an excellent nurse, she had a kind and compassionate heart to go with it. She will be GREATLY missed.

The last time I saw Robin she was 5 years old as I left Michigan for good when I was 17. So obviously I never really knew her well but I do remember her as a bubbly little girl with a happy smile and although we were not close I feel sorrow at the loss of a family (extended) member. My prayers go out to all of her family and friends. I was only aware of her passing via FB which I happened to be perusing today so it may be good for something.

Robin has always welcomed me and my family with opened arms and heart! She is an example of a graceful pillar that held everyone together. We shared grandaughters and she enjoyed every minute of these 2 gifts that we were blessed with. Forever in my heart and never forgotten. You have touched our hearts forever. I love you

We are truly blessed to have had Robin be a part of our family. She has left so many wonderful memories with her compassion, caring ways and her wonderful stories that always made her table the gathering place at family get togethers.
Her 45 years in nursing is evidence that Robin had a big heart for caring for others. A proud wife, mother, and grandmother, Robin will forever be missed.

To Robin’s beautiful family. Robin was one of those people that you instantly made a friend with. I will always remember our conversations when we would see each other at Sweedyk family events. I always looked forward to seeing her and her gentle smile.
I know you are proud to be her husband,Ron, and I know you kids are proud and thanking God that He made her your mom. She was and always will be one of the “special” ones.
