Rodrigo Dariano Obituary
Rodrigo A. Dariano, 77 of Groton, died Monday December 8, 2025 at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London. Rodrigo was born February 16, 1948 in Baguio, Philippines to Santiago and Carmen Dariano. He married Amanda Fulgueras, she survives him.
Rodrigo served in the US Navy until his retirement.
Besides his wife, Amada, he is survived by his daughters Christine Coons, Caroline Spaulding, son Michael Dariano and grandson Jason Dariano.
a Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Monday December 15, 2025 at the Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington Street in New London.

Rudy was a dedicated family man who fought the difficult battle of poor health in his later years. What we remember of better days was fun times at the Fulgueras Compound. He always came baring great food that he prepared himself, oh those muscles, first time I ever had them and they were delicious! Rudy served proudly in the United States Navy retiring after twenty plus years. He then took on cooking in local nursing homes for many years. He will be missed by family. Christine, Caroline, Jason, Mandy please know you are in our thoughts and prayers now and always. The Danao Family....Anut, Sharleen, Alex, Heather, Laura and Joe II, Joey, Ashley and Matthew Bryan.
