Roger always had a sense of humor and kind word to say. He was a loving husband, and father. It was always a pleasure to sit and chat with him at coffee hour and share chuckles while sitting in church pew.
Roger will be missed but never forgotten.
My condolences to the Doty family.

Roger was a wonderful and devoted husband and a caring and loving father.
We were blessed to have Roger as a long time friend. We will miss his cheerful greetings and friendly smile. He was always interested in others welfare. He was a great asset to The OSK family and to all who were fortunate to know and love him. We are thankful that he no longer suffers in pain. We will always think of him with loving memories and great affection.

Growing up I was always a little scared of Uncle Roger with his big booming voice. He was always larger than life and not afraid of anything. As kids he always brought gifts of silver dollars. He certainly was an inspiration and will definitely be missed. I'll always have fond memories of him. My thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Ginny, Elizabeth, Melissa, Jim, and Vaughn.

Roger we will certainly miss you as will all the members of OSK. We thank you for all you have done with your talents to enhance the experiences of "Our Kids". Our deepest sympathy to Ginny, Melissa and Elizabeth and family. Hoping all the "great times" you've shared will bring you comfort. Praying for you that you are now free of this terrible illness. Personally you gave use great service in re-doing my son's graduation portrait and Jennie's Communion portrait. We have had a good friendship over these past 30 years filled with many great excursions. Remember when we took your cockatiel :):)
Rest in peace our friend! Peace and consoling memories to our friends--your family.

Most sincerely,

Angela and Jennie and Vinnie
