Ronald Bringewatt Obituary

Ronald Mark Bringewatt,

Beloved husband, father, brother and friend

A Memorial Service to honor and commit to the Lord our beloved Ron, who passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 will be held Saturday, November 21st at 10:00am at Somerset Hills Lutheran Church, 350 Lake Road, Basking Ridge, NJ.

Ron was born in Taipei, Taiwan to the late Ralph and Martha Bringewatt who were Lutheran missionaries in China and Taiwan for many years. Ron, who grew up in Missouri, lived in Texas with his wife and two children for almost 10 years before moving to Summit, NJ in 2002.

Ron, a graduate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, was the Managing Director of Fixed Income Research for Seaport Global Holdings LLC in New York City. He was an avid golfer, worked crossword puzzles every day, enjoyed doing yard work and do-it-yourself projects around the house, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and cherished his faith.

Ron is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee Duchene) , his children Ryan and Amanda Bringewatt ; his siblings, Margaret Hofius, Richard Bringewatt, Marlene Cote, Marie Chambers, and Marlys Jacobs.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a contribution to the following fund with ?In Honor of Ron Bringewatt? in the memo line. Ron loved watching his son play lacrosse. Coach Kyle Kirst was instrumental in Ryan?s life with his commitment to the sport. Unfortunately, he too was taken at a young age and the family would like to continue to show their support for his family by paying forward the blessings that God has given to them. The tax id number for the fund is 26-3962440.

Kirst Children Educational Fund, PO Box 1352, Summit, NJ 07901

I met Ronald's sister, Marlys, when the family moved to St Louis after Taiwan. We were friends and I heard quite a bit about her family, including Ron. I would love to communicate again with family, especially Marlys, to express my condolences.

My sincere condolence to your family. Ron was my best friend when he lived in Fulton, Missouri. I lost contact with him when his family moved our freshman year of high school. He has and will always be missed.
