I would like to share a little story of when Rosie was baking cannolis, which she did very well. Well, Herb and I were in the basement playing chess or guitars or both. Well , Rosie did’nt like anyone touching her cannolis and I knew that, but , I guess I felt that because she let me help once in the cannoli making ,that I now had some special privilege to sample and make sure they passed the taste test. A dangerous job I came to find out. I digress. As we came in from shooting hoops and retreat to the lower levels we passed the delicious confections resting in a row like little soldiers waiting for me to sample. I could not resist the temptation. So I stethly grabbed one , as she was’nt looking I thought. But Rosie had a sixth sense about these things . Then, she turned and came at me with a special look on her face that sent a shiver down my spine I nicked the Schnek and raced to the basement barely making my escape to rejoice in the secret special joy of that cannoli. As I made my escape I could make out some expletives from the top of the stairs (It May have been Italian). Though she seemed very angry when we left for outdoors but she looked at me with that smile she had and asked”How was the cannoli?” I replyed It was the one yet. To this day it still is the best cannoli I ‘ve ever had. Love you Rosie. I’ll see you in the Heavenly relms walking with Jesus Christ our Lord. Dennis Wycklendt

My heart goes out to you and your family Herb and I pray God bless and give you peace and comfort you in His Love . No words I say can truly express how my heart aches for you at this time. In your lives together you have given and recieved many blessings through your children, family and friends. You’ve lived an interesting life , you and Rosie . I’m glad Rosie played a part in my life and look forward to more life with you in it. I had a dream with you and Rosie in it the other night . I don’t remember much except it felt good and we were much younger. I told Sandi and she said “ I’ve had Herb on my mind lately, you should call him.” Then I see this and it reminds me what a whisper of smoke our love’s are. It all is too short and fast . Time is a terrible task master that goes in one direction. Best of friends always. I love you deeply . God Bless you until we meet again. Stay in touch. Sandi sends her condolences and love to you and the family. Via Condios mi amigos !
