Rose A. Trasatti

1950 - 2025

Trasatti, Rose A. Age 74, of Haddon Heights, NJ. Unexpectedly on March 8, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Domenick and Theresa Trasatti. Loving sister of Anthony (Arline) Trasatti. Dearest friend of Elizabeth Barrett. Devoted Aunt of Mark (Jessica) Trasatti and Amy (Shane) Thomson. Dedicated great-aunt to Nicholas, Cole, Alexandra and Ava. Also survived by many loving family and friends.

Rose dedicated her entire career to education, serving as both a teacher and a guidance counselor. Over her 40+ year career, she taught high school English in Pennsylvania and spent 25 years as a guidance counselor at William Allen Middle School in Moorestown, NJ. Rose was known for her unwavering support and willingness to lend a listening ear to both students and staff. Her encouragement and guidance left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. After retirement, Rose volunteered to lend her teaching expertise as a tutor to the students of the Sisters of St. Joseph Community Center in Camden, NJ.  

Rose’s life was centered around socializing with family and her many friends that spanned from her childhood in South Philadelphia, through her professional career, and her retired life.  She had a special fondness for holidays and celebration gatherings, always cherishing these moments.  She loved spending time with her grand nieces and nephews anywhere, anytime but particularly time spent down the shore.  

In the words of Maya Angelou, “People will forget what you said.  People will forget what you did.  But people will never forget how you made them feel.”  Rose’s memory will live on through the loving memories she created with all those she knew and loved.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, March 16, 2025 4 to 6 PM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ 08108 and Tuesday, March 18, 2025 10 to 11 AM at ST. ROSE OF LIMA CHURCH, 4th Ave. & Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM.  Interment private.
