Rosemary Brown Obituary
Rosemary Brown was born January 25, 1945, to the late Leroy Polk and Essie Mae Greer in Jasper, Texas. On July 29, 2023, God called her home. Full of life, love, and faith, she fought a good fight and finished her race. Rosemary was a one-of-a-kind mother, sister, friend, and grandmother. Her personality will be missed.
Rosemary met and married the love of her life, Ervin Elvi Brown, Sr., and to this union nine children were born. She
worked as a bus driver’s assistant for many years. She was a faithful member of the House of Prayer until her health began to fail. She loved to dance. Rosemary enjoyed family and cooking.
Rosemary was preceded by her parents, Leroy and Essie Mae Polk; husband, Ervin Brown, Sr.; two sons, Ervin Elvi Brown, Jr., and James Brown; two sisters, Florida Warren and Willie Murl Morgan; and three brothers, Jack Polk, Lord Greer and Jerry Greer.
She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories: five daughters,
Shelia Armstrong (Ryan), Flora Bartee (John), Celeste Brown,
Tavi Grant, and Kenya Brown (Patrick); two sons, Ervin
J. Brown (Charissa) and Leroy Brown; and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other
relatives, and friends.
