Ruth Lillian Bzoski

Ruth L. Bzoski, 86, of Tempe, AZ passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Mesa, AZ at Banner Desert Hospital surrounded by her loving family and special friends. 

Ruth was born in Hardin, MT on May 23, 1932 to Oscar and Fay Hager of Wyola, MT.  She grew up on a ranch in the Little Horn Valley and attended school until marrying John P. Bzoski in October 1948.  They moved to South Dakota in 1960 where they completed their family.  In 1974 Jack and Ruth moved to Arizona where she remained except for a brief time in the late 1990s while she cared for her mother in Sheridan, Wyoming.

She loved her family.  She spent many of her golden years nurturing and enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved babies, caring for many that were not her own, however Mama Ruth’s love was given unconditionally. 

Ruth is survived by her five children: John (Debbie) Bzoski, Springdale, AR; James (Sharon) Bzoski, Garland, TX; Jane (Mike Kotek) Bzoski, Tempe, AZ; Jeff (Cathy) Bzoski, Killen, TX; Joylyn (Jeff) Seagraves, Gilbert, AZ; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by one brother, Oscar Hager Jr., life-long friend, Carla Hager, both of Sheridan, WY and special family friend, Inger Herbert of Mesa, AZ.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bzoski; her parents, Oscar and Fay Hager; two brothers, Everett and Harold Hager and one sister, Phyllis Lind.
