Sally Irene Slipian

1955 - 2026

Sally was born in St. Louis, MO to Samuel Slipian and Gloria Slipian (nee Richter). She passed away at the age of 70 years old on March 25, 2026, in Kirkwood, MO. She is survived by her daughter, Teel (Brian Montgomery) Gordon, her cousins Diane Heavenrich, James and Michael Roskind, and many beloved friends. She is preceded in her passing by close cousins Robert Heavenrich and Frank Roskind.  Beloved “mother” of her pet cat, Julia.

Sally graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Louis University and received her JD in law from Washington University.  She was passionate about animals, Mercedes Benz, and making people laugh.  Hers was a life well lived, despite the challenges of illness in her later years. Her laughter could light up any room. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory be a blessing. 

Memorial service Sunday, March 29, 4:00pm at the Ethical Society, 9001 Clayton Road.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Animal Protective Association of Missouri, 1705 S Hanley Rd, Brentwood, MO 63144.
