Obituary

Sam “Black” Kim Snipe, 58

Sam K. Snipe, 58 passed into the spirit world on November 3, 2019 from a sudden illness.

Every year Sam looked forward to camping and salmon fishing with his family and hunting with them in the winter. He enjoyed gambling at the casino and making people laugh. He loved all his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Sam had two sons, Benjamin (Lillian) Snipe of Lapwai ID and Samuel Kenneth “Kenny” Snipe of Ft. Washakie WY.

Sam married Priscilla Grant of Fort Hall. He did not have any children from this union, however he adopted Quentin Snipe and cared for Priscilla’s children as his own, Damon Grant, Devona Billsie, Antoinette Faulkner, Jevon Grant, Tessa Grant, and grandson Dante Billsie.

Sam is survived by his wife, Priscilla Snipe and grandchildren; his sons; sisters Betsey Wesaw and Wilma Arquette of Washington; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, whom he helped raise.

Snipe & Jessie Boise Snipe; and maternal grandparents, Arthur Tendoy & Kate Bigman Tendoy.
