Sandra Anderson - Lewis

     Sandra Anderson-Lewis, age 67 of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at the Emmetsburg Care Center. A Celebration of Life for Sandra will be held at Spellerberg Park in Sioux Falls, SD, on June 7th, 2026 at 1pm. Martin Mattice Funeral Home of Emmetsburg is assisting the family.

     Sandra Lynn Anderson-Lewis, the daughter of Stanton and Joyce (Hartson) Anderson, was born on January 17th, 1959 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She graduated from Washington High School in 1977. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow. She enjoyed tuning in to cooking shows, reading, and puzzles. Sandra was a meaningful part of everyone's life she touched.

     Left to cherish Sandra’s memory are her children, Jazmine “Jazi” Sherwood of Sioux Falls, SD, James Lewis of Sioux Falls, SD, and Christian “Chrissi” Morey of Flandreau, SD; 3 grandchildren; mother, Joyce Hardegger of Sioux Falls, SD; siblings, Laurie Wilkins of Sioux Falls, SD, Susan Lathrop of Sioux Falls, SD, and Clark Anderson of Knoxville, TN; and half-brother, William Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD. She had many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanton Anderson; step-father Donald Hardegger; and half-siblings Jan Anderson and Debra VanDyke.
