Not sure what to say?

She was a great teacher and good friend. She will be missed

Sandra always had a smile and a kind word, and I admired her quiet grace. I am going to miss her.

Sandy was always such a warm, friendly, out-going person. Her humor and wise wisdom stand in the forefront of my memories of her...may she rest in peace!!!

Miss Fletcher was a joy to work with at the Ascension library. She truly loved each child like her own and all the students and parents loved her as well. She had such a genuine, kind-hearted personality that really shined when she told her funny and interesting stories of all her experiences over the years. Oh and her laugh was contagious. You will be missed! May you rest in Jesus’ loving arms.

My favorite teacher in the early 70s at Ascension. She had such a gentle spirit, always so supportive and motivated her students to do their best. She cared for her students during their whole journey at Ascension. Beautiful on the inside and outside. She is someone I often thought and I so regret not reaching out to her. She was loved by students and parents. Sending my prayers to the family of this woman that made an impact on so many. I married a lifelong teacher and I know teaching is...

Ms. Fletcher was my 5th grade teacher at Ascension in the mid-80s. Forty years later I still think of her often and remember the guidance and encouragement she gave me. She told me I was good at analogies! What a wonderful person who touched so many lives. May she rest in peace.

I loved her so much. She so welcomed me when I first came to teach PE with Mary Byrne.
Boy, could she make me laugh. Sometimes we cried laughing so hard
I called her “ Fletch”
So full of worldly information. I admired her witty personality! Everyone loved her. Students, parent’s and staff alike.
A life well lived.
May God keep you Fletch XO

Miss Fletcher was my 5th grade teacher in 1985 at Acension. She was one of the reasons that I went into the field of education. She truly cared about each of her students. The year after I left Ascension, she actually took myself and another classmate to the St. Louis Zoo just to spend time with us. We still talk about that kind gesture. Her students were her life and she embodied what it meant to be a teacher:)
