Sarah is such an amazing woman. I met her in Terre Haute while she was attending school. We lived in the same apartment complex. Once introduced we quickly became friends. She has the most contagious laughter. I can still hear it. She is a great example to me of faith. Throughout her life her love for family and friends was only second to her God. She loved her Savior Jesus Christ and showed this through her love for others. She once sat in my car in the middle of winter for an hour with my children while I attended a doctors appointment. She placed my needs ahead of her own. Something she did often. If her family does read this please know how much she loved you. How hard she fought her sickness for one more day with you and one more day to serve her Savior. When I think of Sarah I think of the gospel doctrine found in John 21:15-17 of the King James Bible. When Christ asked Simon if he loved him and when Simon responded "ye" then 3 times he was asked to feed his sheep. This is Sarah to me. A woman who loved to help others. A Woman who loves Christ And a woman who rejoices to be with her blessed Savior Jesus Christ this Christmas season. I would like to send huge hugs and condolences to her family. For as we weep greatly, the heavens rejoice. May you find peace and love this Christmas Season.

I met Sarah when she joined our group, Prairie Masters Swim Team, in Pierre, SD. Every time I saw her I was amazed by her positive attitude & her strength. In the spring, fall and winter of course we swim indoors in our pool, but in the summers we swim open water in Pierre. I remember the first time Sarah swam in the clear waters of Lake Oahe with our group, where you see fish swimming below you; I swam right beside her. I am praying for her family and friends. I take comfort that she is no longer in pain. We loved her and will never forget her.

I never got to meet Sarah, but I knew by just the few telephone conversations we had, that she was everybit the wonderful person I had heard about. Im very sorry we never had the opportunity to meet but I will remember her always. My condolences to the family. Im deeply saddened that someone so brave and committed to living life was taken so young from her earthly life. It is certain, that it is Gods plan, for her to continue to make a difference.

I was blessed to meet Sarah at a conference years back when she was teaching in Onida/Area Schools. She was amazing, wonderful, kind, smart, and so sweet. I enjoyed our luncheon and conference time together. I admired everything she was made of. Sarah was passionate about being a special education teacher, even with all the challenges in the classroom and out. "She inspired me and touched my heart!" Praying for Sarah's soul as she journeys and for all your family & friends at this time of sorrow and sadness. Rest in peace.
