Scott Bennett Obituary
Scott Michael Bennett, 34, of Hancock, NY, died on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was born on May 1, 1986 in Johnson City, NY, the son of William Scott Bennett and Susan (Taylor) Bennett.
Scotty loved fishing, baseball, and football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed his friends and being outside.
Surviving are his parents, his sister and best friend, Stephanie Bennett, 3 uncles, Kevin and Debra Bennett, Pat Taylor, and Robert Taylor Jr., 2 great aunts, Peggy and Tony Possemato, and Joyce and John Konyk, and several cousins. Scotty was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Bennett, and his maternal grandparents, Robert Sr. and Elizabeth Taylor.
A graveside service will be held in Riverview Cemetery on Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at 2PM.

My lovable big hearted brother I wish everyday for the phone to ring and see it's you to tell me something funny so we both could laugh til we cried..you are the best part of my life the reason I keep going and I'm going to keep going even though it's going to be hard and I wish you were still by my side I know how proud of you were of me and I'm going to keep making you proud ..your memory your laugh your smile will never die!! I remember Scott as a little guy looking in our screen door to see if Eddie could come out and play wiffleball. After he moved I hadn't seen him for awhile. What a tall good-looking kid he became. He was always friendly, courteous, and polite. I am gonna miss seeing you Scott.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Scott Michael Bennett. He was greatly loved by his family and by God. We are all greatly loved by our Creator who gave his life for us on the cross. We all have a purpose to fulfil here on earth. May God's presence be with each of you now and forever.
