Shane Hunt Obituary
Shane Donovan Hunt, age 33, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday June 4, 2022.
Shane was born November 2, 1988 in Cumberland County, NC. Shane loved spending time with his children fishing and swimming.
Shane was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Retha Jane Williams and PK Bartley; his paternal grandmother, Mable Brewer.
Shane leaves to cherish his memories his children, Jaylon O’ Rion Hunt and Saige Paisley Hunt, both of Fairmont, NC; his mother, Sara Hunt and step-father, Lamond Hunt of Fairmont, NC; his brother, Kevin Michael Hunt of Greenville, SC; his companion, Amanda Chavis of Fairmont, NC and his third-grade teacher and Assistant Superintendent of the Public Schools of Robeson County, Mr. Robert Locklear of Fairmont, NC; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday June 7, 2022 at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday June 8, 2022, at New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church in Fairmont, the Rev. Scott Hammonds and Rev. Bobby Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
