Shannon Lee Coble, 43, Father, Brother, uncle, and son, died unexpectedly on March 12th, 2025, in Durant, OK. Born April 20th, 1981, in Denison, TX, raised in Achille, OK, graduated in 2000 from Achille High School. Shannon was known to be the sunshine in the room, with his infectious laughter, his friendly and outgoing nature. Shannon had a knack for making others smile, whether it was with a witty remark or a heartfelt gesture.
One of Shannon’s greatest achievements in life was becoming a father in 2005, when his only child, Kris, was born. Some of his most cherished memories were with his son, whether they were fixing dirt bikes or fishing, that boy was his whole world. Shannon’s favorite activities included spending time with family, paying special attention to his grandfather Calvin and his son Kris, as well as, driving and working on his tractor, (there’s no telling how many miles he truly put on it) hunting, and fishing. Shannon is survived by, His Grandfather Calvin Coble, His parents, Rener Pruitt and Michael Coble Sr., His Son Kristopher Coble, His siblings and their spouses, Michael Coble Jr. and Ginger, Avery Coble and Tawny, and his many nieces and nephews, Randi Kirkpatrick, Tanner Coble, Hunter Coble, Aleigha Coble, Maranda Meade, and Huck Coble.
Shannon is being welcomed into heaven by his Grandmother Leuwayne Coble, Grandmother Dorothy Jean Pruitt, Grandfather RB Pruitt, Uncle Bill Coble, Uncle Mark Coble, Aunt Mildred Meade. We can all find solace in the fact that he is being loved and cared for by these wonderful people, what a joyous reunion they must be having. Most importantly, he is home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Shannon is no longer suffering; he is pain free and is plowing the fields in heaven.
Services will be held at Cunninghams Funeral Home in Colbert, OK from Noon to 1pm Saturday March 15, 2025 followed by a graveside burial in Achille, Ok.
Pallbearers will be Michael Coble Jr., Avery Coble, Tanner Coble, Hunter Coble, Jacob Meade, Levi Coonrod
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Coble Sr. and Kristopher Coble
