Shirley A. Rudolph

1935 - 2026

Shirley A. Rudolph, age 90 of Nappanee, IN, died Thursday morning, March 26, 2026 at The Waters of Syracuse in Syracuse, IN.  Shirley was born on July 12, 1935 in Elkhart County, IN to Harley and Winnie (Pippenger) Geyer.  Shirley was a graduate of Nappanee High School and lived her entire life in the Nappanee area. Shirley attended the Nappanee Church of the Brethren.  She was an avid Notre Dame fan and she enjoyed her pet dogs and cats throughout her life.  Shirley enjoyed gardening; she loved tending to her flowers.  She also enjoyed cross-stitching in her younger years.  Above all, Shirley loved and adored her children and grandchildren.  She is survived by 4 children: Cathy (Rod) Miller of Nappanee, Chris Arnott of Stanford, FL, Caryn (Darrin) Miller of Nappanee, and Kevin (Vanessa) Miller of Goshen; 4 grandchildren: Cory (Jen) Arnott of Winter Springs, FL, Kellie Domer of Granger, IN, Joshua Miller of Nappanee, and Kylie Miller of Goshen; and 2 great grandchildren: Kamyrn and Karson Westphall.  Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dean and Royce Geyer.  Visitation will be held from 10-11 am and a funeral service will begin at 11 am on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.  Pastor Deb Downing from the Nappanee Church of the Brethren will officiate and burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in Shirley’s name can be given to the Nappanee Church of the Brethren.
