Mr. Sidney Holmes, Sr., 87, of Silsbee, Texas, passed away on Friday July 11, 2025 in Silsbee, Texas.
Celebration Service for Mr. Holmes will be at 12:01 P.M. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Silsbee, Texas (460 Bonner Street, Silsbee, Texas 77656) with burial service to follow at Kirby Cemetery in Silsbee, Texas under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. A public viewing will be held for Mr. Holmes on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 P.M. and Visitation on Saturday, from, 10:00 A.M. until 12:01 P.M. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Silsbee, Texas. Social distancing will be practiced and facial masks are recommended.
Mr. Holmes 's memories will forever remain in the hearts of his children, Terri (Reverend Winston) Kibbles, Leslie Dodis, Keith Holmes (Delores) and Sidney Holmes, Jr. (Deshauna); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends
