Sister Gabriella was a phenomenal woman, she will be dearly missed.

I will miss you my dear friend. Rest in peace in the arms of our father and Lord.

When my parents accidentally forgot to pick me up, she found me standing inside the school at the door waiting. She invited me to have dinner, split pea soup, with all the sisters at the convent where they lived at the school. She took me to their living room where I watched TV with the nuns. I felt so cared for. Since I am the oldest child in my family, I loved having the sisters fuss over me like a younger sibling. I felt special because I was able to see them with out their habits.
